With the closure of Limewire and other file sharing sites, I wasn't too sure if it was legal to do this?

Windows 7 - snapping open windows together. not doing it now.

@costalotmore - Jules001 is not wrong since legally downloading and recording are not the same thing.

Of course you can record any sound produced by your PC but that is copyright theft when you do so to a Spotify stream.

You clearly do not know what copyright means... you can breach copyright even after having paid the copyright holder.
