I have suddenly "acquired" a folder on my desktop (W7 Home premium) that is labelled Documents. The one folder within that folder contains nothing. I have tried to get rid of it, but whatever I do, I am told that another folder is using it and it cannot be deleted - any advice out there please ?
Many thanks

Try booting into Safe Mode (by pressing F8 when your computer is 'getting itself ready') and then deleting from there. (NB: Your desktop will look very odd, because your video driver won't have loaded, but you can still carry out basic 'housekeeping' tasks). To get out of Safe Mode, simply restart your computer.
