Pictures blocked

When browsing, pictures are blocked and a small red cross in a box appears. How do I stop this please?

Give us a clue - which browser?

It depends on what is blocking them.
Maybe the picture file no longer exists ?
See if you can right click on the cross and select 'show picture'.
