TV Card wont work

Ok ive installed my TVR PCI Tuner Card in the correct slot, ive put in the disc and installed the drivers and software, added all the cables and rebooted when told to, then i hit a snag, when i tried to access the tv software on my desktop it tried to open then shut leaving a little box saying...Could Not Initialize The Capture Device...now ive checked the manual for clues (it doesnt even contain a TroubleShooting section) ive even tried the website...but to no avail...can anyone tell me what it means and how to fix it please.

My advice would be to contact the manufacturers. If they failed to provide a troubleshooting section and the software can't do with the hardware what it needs to, then I think it is up to them.

That said, have you tried googling for posts from folk who have a similar problem with the same card ?

If it can't initialise the device it would suggest that the drivers are not installed properly, check the device manager and see what it say about the device there.

Thanks ChuckFickens, i had forgotton to check there, it asked me to reinstall the drives and now it works perfectly...Cheers x
