Mozilla Thunderbird

Has been working ok up till now, but keeps saying it's already running but not showing, friend said it needed updating, so downloaded and installed same, now it's telling me the same thing again ... a gremlin in the works ??

The alternative is to uninstall and completely reprogramme but that means moving mail if I don't want to lose it. Has anyone experienced the same thing ??

get this a lot with them

Right click on your task bar > start task manager > processes > highlight the one you want to stop > end process

You can click on 'image names' once in processes to put them into alphabetical order if you want to

back again ... umm, where is the task bar, I can't open t/bird page

lol, the bar at the bottom (or side) of your screen where you may keep your icons to start your browser

sorry about the delay, also having probs with my modem but that's a whole other story !!

still trying to find task bar - have hidden icons for just about everything else but will keep looking - many thanks
