E mail address
I wish to get a new e-mail address, as I plan to change internet service providers (see my recent question)
To avoid being tied to an ISP in future, I want one that doesn't rely on me remaining a customer.
Do I have any choice other than Hotmail and Gmail?
Am I being silly not wanting to go with the giants of Microsoft and Google?

However, the mail server & service is excellent, if you don't want the adverts, then there is a premium mail box available for you for the cost of £3.99/month.

That's a little snobby, MR
Although I hate seeing companies using @gmail addresses or the like (especially when it's on sign-written vans... if you're going to pay to get a van sign-written at least pay the few quid to get a domain) for the average home user having a generic email address with one of the normal providers is perfectly good enough and not second class at all.
