Missing pictures

Hi all the sites that i go on including this one that have avatars or pictures, just have a red outline and a red cross instead of the picture. This has only started happening today. How can i rectify this ? TIA.

Try running a disk cleanup
Double-click computer
Right-click C drive
Choose properties
Click Disk cleanup.
