I added the recommended upgrades to my iPad and YouTube disappeared. When I reinstalled it, it will only display in portrait view. Has anyone any suggestions as to how I can remedy this?
No other app has this problem.
Thanks

Yep, go to YT via Safari and then click on add to home screen, it gives you a little app like symbol.

I'm raging over this bloody new update. Try using youtube through your browser and see if that works.

I used it in Mercury and that worked in landscape, don't know about safari as I rarely use it.

Thanks, rocky
I have a love/hate relationship with iPad. I like the convenience, but hate the automatic text correction that makes me write a lot of gobbledygook.
The new Apple maps have put Dublin airport in the middle of a farm.
I see the app icon is now indicating 15 upgrades. I don't think I'll bother.
It's the maps that have finished me off anne, there's no streetview and the layout and colour on the maps are awful, motorways are in yellow the same as A roads. I wish I could take it back to ios 5.

I've managed to solve one problem - go to YT and tap on the video. This will take it into landscape mode. It is a real pain.
These new problems with iOS 6 take away a lot of the fun.
Get your act together, Apple.
A you tube app is available for download in the app store.
