Windows XP on PC.
Following a full defragmentation on Local Disk C the result showed
Message 1: Some files on this volume could not be defragmented. 24 fragments.
Message 2: Please check the defragmentation report for the list of these files.
Message 3: If you use these files frequently, there might be a large impact on your system performance.
I am given a choice to Print, Save As or Close. But not other suggestions how to remove or cure the problem.
Anyone have any ideas please?

I defrag and scan for viruses every time I clone my C drive as back up and it tells me it saves about 1% to 3% space on the hard drive. It will also possibly save a wee bit of time searching for the separate bits of file when working but I doubt if you would notice any difference.
