Shockwave Flash Has Crashed

Over the last couple of weeks, the following displays on my screen: Shockwave flash has crashed. Then, unsurprisingly my computer crashes. I've gone onto about:plugins to identify the problem, but it's way over my head! Would it be easy enough to disable all plugins and download a new flash plugin? Or am I likely to disable something I need? HELP! I use Google Chrome if thats at all relevant

Have you tried it with a different browser, I read that there is problems using shockwave with Google Chrome.

Thankyou Ratter. I've focused on the information and followed the instructions, will let you know if it works. If not, I will try a different browser.

24 hours on and it hasn't crashed (yet).

I have just putb a post about this...had not seen this one...do you get a message saying SHOCKWAVE HAS CRASHED.and where one should get a moving pic,a little pic of a piece of jigsaw?
I also find it is on Chrome
