Copying A Dvd

I own a short promotional film made on video about 25 years ago. I had it professionally transferred to DVD as I wanted to send copies to my former workmates who appear in the film. However, the shop which copid it must have made it uncopiable as no option comes up for me to do so. Is there any way I can overcome this?

if you want I can do it on my DVD player..recorder..do you have e mail we can go to off ab?
I do not know whether this will work but as it is a freebie it's worth a try.

How would that work murraymints?
I have a machine that can copy disk to tape and back to disc.....not on computer...if you let me have e mail I can give you my info to send it
