Find My Iphone Stopped Working?

I have an iPad and a mini

Find my iPhone was working on both a few weeks ago

Now neither of them can find each other (they share the same iCloud account)

Everything seems to be set up OK - all that's changed is the iOS version

Any suggestions please????
