My internal webcam was not being recognised, when I tried to use it with Skype this afternoon. Can anyone tell me how to re-install it? Thanks.

Hi chrissa....I am ignorant when it comes to using Web Cams. However, I think AB Techies are going to need some more Info......such as....What laptop/ computer do you have....What operating system (Windows Vista, XP., W7 or whatever) along with as much further information as you have to offer on the matter.

You're right Alston, thanks for reminding me.
It's a Packard Bell EasyNote T167 running Windows7. When I click on the webcam icon that pops out of the side of the screen, a message comes up saying: "Camera is not installed or camera is occupied by another user."

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Go to the Control Panel and open up your device manager. Check the device manager to see if it is installed if so right click on it and click update software and see what happens. Failing that you may have to reinstall it with the disc that came with it or go the manufacturers website and download the drivers and installation from there.
