Google Display Problem

Good morning,
I'm not sure how I've done it but all my search results are displaying in column rather than across the page and I can't see how to change it back.

I'm using W8.1, IE11.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I would really like to help solve your problem, but am somewhat lost by what in reality it is.

Is this something which has arisen since your up-dating to W8.1 or was it around prior to the Windows up-date.

My computer knowledge is reasonable but I am 100% certain that there are other ABers who are superior. My question now is.....Where are you Top Techies to give me some assistance to help Frank.?

Thanks for looking Alex, it just started this morning when I reset my advanced internet settings, I was trying to get back to the google home page that I had before I changed to 8.1.
Anyway, I seem to have sorted it by refreshing my PC, W8.1 has disappeared now, but all is back as I like it.
