My Photos Appear Correctly In My Docs!
5 Answers
Hello
Since I downloaded all my photos from my old to my new laptop something has changed.
Before, they showed as icons in My Docs with the actual photo showing so I could review them before opening them.
Now they all show the same as an icon with a standard picture of a scene. However, when I open each one the correct photo appears...so I have not lost any.
What have I done wrong in the transferring of them and how do I return them to normal?
Thanks all

On W7 do as follows (may also work on W8)
On the main Windows menu select "Computer".
Select the "Organize" menu option, then "Folder and Search Options"
On the Folder Options windows select the "View" tab.
Near the top is an option called "Always show icons, never thumbnails".
If this has a TICK in it then you will just see icons like you are getting.
Deselect the tick and save your changes.
Now you should see your photos.
Here is a picture of the window (this is from vista but it is similar in W7 and W8)
