Every time I go into Facebook I have to press ctrl-alt-del and end programme to get out of it.
My machine works perfectly on all other sites - this problem only occurs when on Facebook. Am I alone in experiencing this and does anyone have any ideas on how to overcome this problem?

facebook's the one side which often hangs when I click on it in my Favourites to open it - all the others open up immediately.

I often have to do the same. Mine is quite an old machine, though.

It seems to have started all of a sudden earlier this year. I guess they did something to it that has caused all manner of things to happen all the time. It appears that you're uploading loads of huge files each time you scroll down the home page. I've more or less given up using it.

I don't know if you'll see this after all this time, but a bt engineer was in my place last week and said that he'd been having the same problem with fb and had moved away from Internet Explorer to Firefox. I've tried it and Facebook's back to normal on there. Looks like it's an IE problem.
