Scroll Bar
My right hand vertical scrolling bar on my computer screen has disappeared, the grey bar is still there albeit narrower but the top and bottom arrows have gone. Can anyone help me with this please?

Personally, I think it is as a result of an update from Google and it is one designed for Tablets and Smart Phones which have finger controlled screens
Incidentally, the 'up-down' and 'across' buttons on your keyboard should
still function. The block of four at the bottom of keyboard with arrow heads.
I have just noticed that the Scroll Arrows are also missing in the 'Answer Box' into which I am presently typing.

Do you use Google Chrome?
Does the problem happen
a) on all web pages
b) every time on some web pages, but never on others or
c) inconsistently?
If you use Google Chrome and it happens on all web pages, the most likely answer is a bad extension. To test this out, open a new incognito window (Menu->"New incognito window" or Ctrl+Shift+N) and try browsing web pages with that.

hi all, only just come on here today so only just seen your answers, thanks. Yes I do use Chrome as it suits my needs better and is quicker, have never had the scroll bar disappear before though. It is like this on everything I open up now, the arrow keys do work but I find myself gravitating towards the r/h scroll bar from force of habit and I do miss it. Have tried your suggestions but it is still missing, mind you I am by no means an expert so maybe will have to get someone to fix it for me.

Please confirm you have tried incognito mode and you still have no scroll bar when in incognito mode. When you are in incognito mode, you should see this symbol at the top left of the Chrome browser:

Yes ellipsis I have, I was incognito and the logo was in the top left hand corner and I went into AB and tried to reply to a post on here but it asked me to join as obviously I wasn't recognised. Unfortunately it did not affect the scroll bar though, I tried other pages too and nothing. Thanks for helping anyway.
pips.....I have re-established the side Scroll Bar and the arrows are now back at top and bottom.
First I tried up-dating Google but it didn't work. I wasn't too keen on removing the Browser and doing a reinstallation for fear of loosing a few 'add-ons'. However, I took the chance....removed Chrome from Control Panel's list of 'Programmes & Features' and downloaded the current version of Chrome.
Consequently all is back in order and I did Not loose my 'add-ons' in the process.
