Ipad E-Mails

Two questions really..How do I stop e-mails from opening automatically opening when selected prior to binning them (40 - 70 per day)? Also , how do I go about accepting those I want and barring those I don't want to receive. Being able to do this will save a bit of battery time. Thanks in advance for any advice I receive

Before you click on the emails. Press the Edit Button on the to right hand side. You can then click on all the ones you want to delete and press the trash button at the bottom left.

To block emails coming though you will need to do this on your computer. For example with GMail you can mark messages as spam. This will stop them showing up on your iPad.

Thanks for your input Stoofur but for some reason the e-mails still open behind the panel.anyone got any ideas.? (Just shot down 41 )

If you don't want to receive the emails unsubscribe from them. There is usually a link at the bottom of each one usually small writing also. Also if you are binning that many a day you will need to access your email account via safari or another computer to delete them totally as they will take up space on your ipad.
