In answering the first Related Question below, Buenchicho explained that, "Microsoft doesn't offer one-to-one support (unless you're a commercial user and pay Microsoft a great deal of money).".....Consequently it is unlikely that you will find a telephone number.

Are you able to say why you wish to contact Microsoft. Perhaps an AB Techie member can help you.

Hans.
I have found a telephone number....0344 800 2400.

Being an 0344 number it will cost the same to telephone as a standard number. If you have a landline with 'Freecalls' there will Not be any charge.

Thanks folks. Reason:- I purchased a laptop ages ago with windows vista installed, became slightly damaged I wanted a better model and bought a laptop running windows 7. I have registry keys for both. The windows 7 laptop has crashed totally, so I bought a disc (£3-00) and installed windows 7 on vista laptop. Both times I made a start - up disc, for each laptop, both don't work! Now I am being asked to verify my version of 7 using registry key. Have tried both keys, both don't register, despite me having legitimately paid for both!! I want some strong (ex forces) words with Microsoft!! Next time I'm doing what my mate has done and getting Linux. Bloody rip offs, No wonder Bill Gates is a prat.
