If your computer has an HDMI output socket and your TV has an HDMI input socket then (probably unsurprisingly) all you need is an HDMI lead. Otherwise things could get rather complicated. (With some combinations of, usually older, TVs and computers you need to buy a special gizmo to convert the output signal of the computer to one which the TV can handle - and they're not cheap!). More information, please!

Depends on what connectiosn your computer and tv have.
Mine has SVHS out and also VIDEO (phono socket).
I connect the SVHS to the video recorder, and the head phone socket to 2phono calbles into the video.
If your tv has a PC in, you could connect that way.
You will need to set a resolution that the tv can handle, and you might have to clone your display to the tv.
If you reply with model of tv and type of video card in your computer

PS: It might be simpler to make your TV 'smart' by buying a Now TV box. They come with apps for sending TV catchup services (BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4onD, Demand5) and things like Youtube directly to your TV set. They only cost £9.99 (inc p&p) but you can also get them complete with 3 months entertainment package (inc GOLD, Sky 1, Sky Arts 1, Comedy Central, etc) for £16 in Asda (if they've not gone up recently) or £20 in Tesco (but with a total of £2.70 in Clubcard points, if that offer is still on). If you want to keep the entertainment package after 3 months you have to pay £6.99 per month but there's no commitment to a subscription:
