New To Ipad Mini - Help!!

I am not used to tablets having a laptop - can anyone help me please?

My sister who lives some way from me phoned me to say that her new mini ipad (her first tablet) had been working ok but today when she tries to go into her facebook page all she gets is a white blank page with a little blue circle going round trying to load and it does not load it!

On questioning her she says that if she goes into Google then Facebook and then enters her password details it appears and loads and is as fast as usual.

Is she doing something wrong? How do tablets work? Would she be entering via a favourite like my laptop? I had a situation once where my favorites on my laptop where corrupted and I had to go in via Bing.

I told her to go into 'settings' and she said there was a tick against talk talk (her provider) and that it showed a strong signal.

Any suggestions I can pass on to her?

She's better off downloading the Facebook app from iTunes, I find it much more stable than using the website through a browser.
