I did some updates a couple of days ago, which have left a picture of a disc on the bottom right of the screen (not in the bar at the bottom, sorry but I don't know the correct terminology), but on the actual screen. It's says Data Disc on the top of the picture, + Cyberlink on the bottom, + some numbers 0.02/4.38GB.
It's about 2"x1"
Now I do have Cyberlink, but haven't actually used it yet on this laptop.
HP15-g)94sa 15" Laptop - Purple ;)
Thanks in advance + anticipation.
Oh, nearly forgot....Chrome ;)

Hi OG. Right clicking on it does nothing, neither does left clicking, although I've just hovered over it + a window opened for Cyberlink with disc burning opetions on it.
If I had to guess I'd guess you had it running permanently in the background and it is superimposing this way of using it onto your wallpaper. Try finding cyberlink in task manager and stopping it.
Yep....it actually was a Copy Disc window, ...I clicked Cancel, +all it did was remove the page + I was back to the desktop.
Gonna try + find task manager.....send a search party in for me if I'm not back here in 10 mins....
No Tambo, no disc in.
hc.....unkind to tut + say easy peasy.
Ok, found Task Manager, + found Background Processes with (52)...like that.
Cyberlink was in that list.
