Windows 10 Pop Up Message On Start

W10 installed and working well until now on booting up there comes a message "Failed to connect to a Windows Service" I close it and it doesnt affect my desktop starting so whats it all about please?

It's a well-known issue with the Winsock (whatever that is!), with all versions of Windows.

Press the Windows key and X together. That should bring up the Power Users Menu.

Click on 'Command Prompt (Admin)'.

Type 'netsh'. Press 'Enter'.

Type 'winsock reset'. Press 'Enter'

Restart your computer.

Cross your fingers.

Drink large glass of vino.
