Picture Manager

I am scanning photos from a book - they come out as PDF. I convert them to Word documents, but I am unable to crop or edit them in Picture Manager. Please can anyone help - or is there a simple solution?

you can use windows photo gallery to do this...or theres this free one http://www.picresize.com/
