A PC's main disc/hard drive records everything. Where does one find out where one last logged off?

The information you want can be found via the following path: Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Security. If you want to delete Windows log files, use this: http://www.eusing.com/Window_Washer/Window_Washer.htm

No, the hard drive does not record everything.

If you are concerned about the history your computor holds about your internet activity down load and run this.

And tell it to "wipe free space", something I never do because it will take a long time and I have nothing to hide.
