Do You Find Some People Strange

watching Escape to the country, where couples choose a rural retreat, or may be edge of a village, hoping for a quiet life, then promptly set up barn conversions for
rent or set up yurts and caravans - do you find some people strange in a way.

the other is those who dress up in hat gloves, scarves against the bad weather and promptly leave their coats open to the gales, wind and snow. I see lots of people do this.

No stranger then the people who move next door to a pub or a church that has been there hundreds of years and then complain about the bells ringing on a Sunday or noisy people turning out of the pub at 02.00.

As the old idiom goes "There's nowt as queer as folk" and as a friend once told me as we sat in on a committee meeting, people can drive you around the twist - as he watched me get agitated at another committee member - so yes, I find people strange ;)

I can see why people who plan holiday accommodation look for peace and quiet because its a a great selling point....and maybe right then and there they can't afford their dream home with no income....it maybe that renting out for 2 or three months a year will give them the other 9 or 10 to enjoy all that peace.
