There is a lot of information about problems with the superhub3 supplied by virgin media. A result of this is that, despite receiving one as part of upgrade to v6 tv box, I am reluctant to replace my superhub1 with the 3. Am I being over cautious?

I had an offer to upgrade to V6 tv box, which I declined after reading through the forums.
no problems upgraded to both
Always happy to sort a virgin out.
You are missing out, SlackAlice. I've got two V6 boxes and the difference from the Tivo is remarkable. Far easier to use, much smoother and faster - the Tivo is a clunky interface - and the remote control doesn't need to be pointing directly at the box to work. Far less buffering, too as well as each box being able to record 6 channels at once. I'd recommend the V6 to anyone.
I back up everything hc4361 says above..... great boxes, SlackAlice and so much quicker.....you will notice so much of a difference between the V6 and the clunky, large and slow predecessor.

No problems with superhub also...runs nicely.
