About a month ago I couldn’t decide what book to read. So I let you guys choose.
You chose Killing Floor by Lee Child. I was a bit fed up when I started it. It wasn’t what I was used to, the chapters were long and I felt at times a tad repetitive. But I stuck it out and I actually got into it and I’ve just finished it! I really enjoyed it. I’m taking a break from heavy reading with the possibility of flitting but I’m going to read something I know I can rattle through quickly to keep me settled.
Thank you for your choice - was a good one!!

I have received the last half-dozen on publication - they come out n November, so I get one as a birthday gift.
If you like them, avoid the films, tiddly Tom Cruise is no Jack Reacher!

Hi Queenie - hope you are good - know you and your daddy have an impending move - hope you get somewhere suitable.
Some years back - I don't like crime, thrillers, detective books etc but really got involved with the "Other Side of Midnight" by Sidney Sheldon. Please try it.
Another book I reread about 3 times was "Katie Mulholland" by Catherine Cookson. Please give that a go. It was great.

Many, many years ago I overheard two girls chatting about a book that one of them was reading and was intrigued. Admit I hung on and listened until she mentioned the title. It was Rage of Angels by Sidney Sheldon. I bought it and I was hooked. It is one of my favourite books and I have since bought as many of his books as I could find. The TV series that was made was garbage so if anyone saw that please believe that the book is so much better.
I’ve seen the films already. But when I read the books I don’t see Tom Cruise.
I will give them a go Jenny. Thank you :) hoping to find out tomorrow about a house, so crossing everything I can possibly cross!
I’ve got the first three to read. I have a friend who has insisted I read them all. I probably will but I think it will take time.
No better way to spend your birthday Andy than with a good book!
