Im back a bit b4 I thought I would be....
been viewing a few (music) You Tube vids from back in the day.
Weird how a few tunes can bring back so many memories.
Everything from ecstatic to suicidal depression.
What The Funicular is it with music?
45 and each decade has had it's good points. I was still at school in the 80's. Had my children in the 90's. Had to deal with a few deaths and family illnesses in the 2000's. Back on track now although my going out drinking days are more or less over but I'm still happy.
I'm 20 and I'm very happy, happier than I've ever been. I have a fantastic partner who I worship, work is going really well thanks to him, I'm going to be living in the States soon and everyone I love is healthy and happy, although I am worried about my partners health but that's being explored at the moment so fingers crossed, and I'm not meeting trouble half way. x
There was a time I felt disassociated, as though I should be happy because there wasn't really anything wrong, but I wasn't. That's the difference now.
68 (just - be 69 soon) and I am definitely happier than I have ever been because I am relaxed and married to the right man. Yes, life brings problems and I hate the pains of arthritis etc. and being limited physically. Music - grew up with classics, especially Delius, so can play them - otherwise the '60's and early '70's. I well remember the first time 'Love me Do' came on the radio - so raw, so new, so exciting!
Theres just something that I love about reading about the diversity of life...different ages etc that makes life worth living.
The idea that 'one size fits all' leaves me cold. Reading about people that have found love after losing a loved one etc gives me hope. I love AB for the wide range of opinions/ personalities on here....
71 in a few weeks. In the middle...have been both happier, and more unhappy. Swings and roundabouts I guess.
I've always had pretty broad/eclectic musical tastes...it varies with my mood.
47. There are so many songs from the 70s which bring back childhood memories and I often well up when I hear them. Back in the day for me would be the 80s when I properly discovered music and bands and 90s when I started pubbing every Friday night. I think I was a lot happier then but I didn't have so many emotional issues back then I was quite carefree.
68 next January. Summer of love 1967, Floyd and Hawkwind, The Doors, stopped there before 1970, then classics, especially baroque, could be happier if the family had less problems, but hey, we just have to cope with the hand dealt to us don't we?
(Could do with less health problems).
Just had Led Zep's Physical Graffiti on at volume 30 while i had my meal. Brought back some happy memories of my time in the forces when life was less complicated - i.e. no ties, no responsibilities. I do have 4 smashing children, who i love more than words can describe, and for that reason alone, i am probably much happier than i was back then. Though it's close :-) I'm 63 but still sometimes behave like a teenager - hence the volume 30.
55. Neither happy nor unhappy. TBH I don’t have a great many emotions and don’t get attached so each day is pretty much like the last. Although to be fair sometimes better things happen and sometimes not better things happen.
Fav music Monkeys and Dolly Parton. They are both on constant loop in the car.
