Does Anyone Put Their E Mails In

categories i.e family, etc and can tell me a way that easy to
delete said category. I am clearing out some old e mails, and can't find a simple method of doing it. Hope that makes sense.

emmie, I'm on outlook when it comes to e-mails... I simply scroll through them from 'inbox' and click on'move to' said folder. eg family.. which is a really easier method I find especially after the weekend... When I very rare reply to any. apart from the fisching scams etc.. that are usually apparent I also have a folder named 2 b sorted... for all miscellaneous stuff. You could open a new folder to decide later if you want to keep certain E-Mails and send them to it.

In yahoo you can just highlight the folder you no longer want and delete the whole folder. I'm assuming you want to clear out he whole folder. If not you just have to go through them and pick out the ones to keep/delete

strange to say, i found a way, but its a bit convoluted.

I used to put emails into folders, but found that I rarely (if ever) looked at them again. Now just delete the lot unless there's a particularly interesting or important one.

as i said i have found a way, but you should be able to just right click on it and press delete, but its not that simple. either individual mails or the entire category...

I actually have different e-mail addresses for different traffic, that way stuff sorts itself out. Beyond that I have sub-folders for certain categories such as travel, etc. I download everything and delete from the server at the same time.
