Outlook 2003 Send And Receive Problem
6 Answers
When I click send and receive I get a failure message - Task POP3 - receiving report error (0x80040900): The server name you entered can not be found on the network.
This is on a new computer, when I loaded Outlook 2003 and set up the email it worked fine, the problem arose after I exported my email folders from my old computer to a memory stick (as pst files) and imported them to my new computer.
I would be delighted if someone on AB is able to solve the problem for me.

However I'm surprised that you've apparently set up the account using the POP3 settings for it. Most people would opt for using IMAP these days (especially if the account is to be accessed from other devices, such as a mobile phone).
