Photocopying

A friend has emailed a leaflet to help me understanding my printer .It has come up with an email telling me how to get the manual but I have to pay £1 odds . Would this be safe or is it a scam, It does say it is safe but nowadays it is difficult to trust anything

Make is canonPixmaTS5100.
A bit confused myself how to word it .It is new and is connected to my iPad .I thought a manual of instructions would be useful

I have the same one galasalmon, do you find putting the plug in the back fiddly? If I move the machine slightly, the plug falls out.

Computer chap set it up for me .haven’t had problem of plug yet .It is a good printer.
