Rivals

Loads of hype surrounding Rivals On Disney +, and some famous cast members, but I cannot get into it at all.  Stupid storylines, not one character I care about, just lots of OTT behaviour.  The only plus point for me is the 80s soundtrack.  How are you finding it?

I switched it off, I thought it was very trashy with awful characters, even the fab 80's tracks couldn't save it for me.

I'm not finding it at all. Mind you, I don't have Disney, + or -.

ive been watching it this weekend ... for me its in the "so bad it's good" category

and in fact i finished it last night.  Deffo so bad it's good.  Now need a new series!

Lol I actually did go back to it, nad must have been in a better modd cos i did quite enjoy it. Very surprised how much I enjoyed Danny Dyer in it!

i think the whole point is you are not supposed to like any of the characters - they are all awful

I read the book many years ago and Rupert had blond hair and blue eyes, so I found that a bit odd. I didn't realise it was Danny Dyer either but thought he was good, as was David Tennant. There will have to be another series as they are only about half way through the book.
