I saw them mating last week...eggs will be on their way soon.

As of today, April 19 2025, the Loch of the Lowes osprey nest is occupied by the female osprey, NC0, who returned on March 17, 2025. She is currently with the "Dark Intruder," a male osprey that has been accepted by NC0 and they are working together to defend the nest. There are six ospreys vying for the nest, but NC0 and the Dark Intruder are considered the established pair.
