The SpeedTouch CD Browser should start automatically. Choose your language and go to Install SpeedTouch USB/330 Software > Remove USB Software
Note If the SpeedTouch CD Browser does not appear automatically, open a Run window via Start > Run from the Start menu and enter the following path: D:\menu.exe, where D stands for the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive.
I also recommend that once the above is carried out, you download and run CCleaner to clear up anything that may be left.
Then I would reboot twice, the second time in Safe Mode.
Then Control Panel and Remove Programs to uninstall the Netgear s/w for the WG111. (you may have to run this in Normal boot mode)
Again, run the CCleaner to remove anything relating to Netgear. Reboot a couple of times with nothing connected to the USB ports.
Then download the latest Netgear driver s/w from here ;

You need to verify which version of WG111 and follow the appropriate link. The important thing is to fully install the Netgear software before rebooting and connecting the WG111.
Sorry this is so long but I think it should help. Let me know how you get on - Good Luck !
