back-up DVD programmes

Hi does anyone know of any good programmes I can download to back-up my DVD collection to my hard drive?

I want to do this for my own personal use, it would be handy because recently one of my children 'killed' one of my favourite films and a back up would have been great.

...bare in mind that most DVDs will not fit on a DVD-R disc which, so you will need DVD Shrink to compress and burn onto disc
