Is there an adaptor I can get to plug my VCR output into the computer's sound and vision holes to copy video to a document file to share online? I already have Nero and other video capture and edit software for my digital camera but these were taken on the old one.
most video capture software should let you do this you will need a standard av cable (the ones with red yellow white jacks on either end)or one end may need a scart depending on your video.
you can buy special adaptors but if you already have capable software and the required av inputs on your computer you should be able to save your money.
No input sockets as you expected khana, that would be too easy. I am getting a new computer in a few weeks and maybe if that has them I won't have to mess around but if not I assume I'll be able to get a standard av to jack plug converter for sound and vision, although my current video input for the webcam is on the usb port so would I be able to get an av-usb adaptor?
