Changing ISP!?!?!
2 Answers
If I change my ISP (from Freeserve/Wanadoo/Orange to Sky Broadband) will my old email address still be active? I have an old freeserve email address that ends in fsnet.co.uk which I setup with their original free internet offer (i.e no subscription, just pay for the phone call). This has remained active and I still receive these emails even though I am now on a BB tariff, I can also still receive these emails remotely via PDA using my old dial-up details. I guess I am trying to convince myself that the email account will still work if I now switch provider. Can anyone confirm what is likely to happen??
Thanks

Unlocking doesn't cost anything, takes about 5 minutes and then you're good for another 90 days or so. gets to be a bit of a pain after a while, I stayed with an fsnet address for a long long time after leaving wanadoo but got fed up in the end. I couldn't dial up though as my PC doesn't have a modem only a router. If you have a modem, use a dial up connection to access Wanadoo once every 80 days or so, log off immediately and it's sorted. This is all based on my experience leaving Wanadoo about 2 years ago. It may have changed since or maybe not.
