When you click on My Documents click on Tools>View and select "Do not show Hidden folders."
If you use different User accounts with your own passwords though you can right click on the folder> sharing and security and tick the box for "make this folder private"

A very smart piece of software creates a folder that can be locked.
Also locks drives.

I was very impressed as I thought it was freeware but I am afraid it gives 20 uses then costs $28.
