DVD Burning

I have a "avi" file. Is it possible to burn it onto a DVD? I have Nero 6 but it doesn't recognise the file.

Have you tried to burn it as a VideoCD as opposed to a data CD? I use Nero 6 to burn .avi files from my digital camera, it works just fine.

If you have Nero 6 with Nerovision/ Express then it should accept avi and a host of other file types and convert them to a dvd capable of playing in any dvd player.

Does your version of Nero have this featrure ??

If you do and it doesn't recognise the file then maybe it is not an avi file or maybe the file you are working with is too large or even corrupted.
