opening photos
when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

that's probably Martinborough? About 80 miles from Marlborough across the water, east of Wellington.
Well, I got an appointment for my eye op... but I'm going to be away, so I rang them and asked for another appointment and was told they'd ring me back this afternoon.
They didn't, of course. Another day wasted. Still, I titivated some photos, but that's about it.

A'noon...grey and damp but very mild. If the sun was out it would be glorious. As it is it's just oppresive and sinus headache inducing. Baby moondust paid a quick visit but he was very grumpy (he won't give in to sleep) so a frazzled daddy took him off again because he does magically fall asleep in the car, as many babies do.
Jude only the person who posted the question can choose the best answer...like shaney and myself you'll be stripped of the honour tomorrow and neti's headless wonders will probably take pride of place :)
I've done some invesigating and it looks like your toadstool might be Coprinopsis lagopus...remember that neti, it might come in handy next time you're in H&G :)

Bouoght myself a new camera, well pleased. Hoovered through and cleaned the bathroom, tis a lovely feeling. Had a phone call from hija saying she was OK, for a minute I had to think who she was, so enjoying the peace!!!
Just ate some revolting thing called langostinillos, which I thought was langostine tails, eukk, sort of prawn shape, very chewy, and very red at the tail end, and the chopped off bit was gungy, eurggh, the cat loved them.
Mr N at a golf comp, so really enjoying my day. He can finish off the moroccan, I shall just nibble.
Just having a cuppa on bed watching new channel "Drama" Birds of a feather, very nice!

Full of the green wellie brigade though.Lots of horsey women in quilted bodywarmers braying at one another over the olives .
