You say you have just got Windows Vista, does this mean you have upgraded a PC from a previous version of Windows ?

If so you may need to install the Vista drivers for your Graphics card or Monitor.

If you have not done this then you may be using the "basic" drivers that come with Vista.

Also, can you explain "fuzzing" a bit more. What exactly it "fuzzy", is the screen readable, does it happen all the time, or only at certain times.

More detail of the problem may be help to isolate it.
If you have an LCD monitor and set the video card resolution to anything other than the monitor's native resolution, the monitor will make a crude attempt at interpolating to match the two. This results in a fuzzy looking picture. I don't know if that's the problem in your case, but it's worth checking.

Otherwise, as VHG says, it could well be a driver problem. On my test machine, Vista continually insisted on "upgrading" the card manufacturer's Vista-certified drivers with the MS version, which caused all sorts of display problems.
