MSN + MacBook Pro

my sister has just got a MacBook Pro and has been trying to download msn. but after it downloads, it says 'safari can not open the file'
can someone tell me what i need to do so that it opens it
if i can download msn at all :/

You are not downloading the Windows version by mistake ?

I know nothing about MSN for MAC, but these may help:

Will Messenger for the Mac do the same job as MSN ?

I'd recommend you don't use the microsoft client. It isn't very good... adium is different, but far more mac-like, and in many ways better.

Free to give it a go if you want.
