How do I recieve MMS messages to a Samsung X640 phone?

I've had the phone (Samsung X640) for around 19 months and have never been able to send mms messages (multimedia.) This hasn't really bothered me until recently because my friend has free mms messages but can't send sms, so thats all she sends, and I can't send or recieve these. I've exhausted myself searching the internet with no success. I am with Vodafone and the Samsung X640 isn't even on their website anymore :S. Please help!! I am in desperate need!! Many thanks to the person that can. xxx

Go into the settings menu for mms and enter the following

Access Point Name: wap.vodafone.co.uk
Username: wap
Password: wap
Authentication: Normal
Data bearer: GPRS
Gateway IP (proxy) address: 212.183.137.012
Session mode: Permanent
MMS Message (Relay) Server URL: http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms/

When I tried to click on the link, it says internet explorer cannot find the webpage.
And where are the mms settings? on the phone or on the internet? The only settings I can get up on the phone are display, internet etc. Please try to help xxx
