G'Day !!
I have a Panasonic Digital Camera that takes SD cards. I need to transfer some files from my PC onto a card (2Gb) - can I use the camera as a reader or do I need to buy a card reader/writer ? Thanks in advance.

you can copy files onto the card as long as you can connect it to your pc
so the answer is yes btw. you can use your camera to do this
Not all digital cameras allow you to upload files. Some that appear as a device in My Computer are download only.

Plug it in and try it.
I bought an external card reader for around 6 - best thing I ever did.

Downloads photos so much quicker than when connecting the camera.

I got mine from PCWorld .
