Itunes problem

Hi

ever since I updated to itunes 7.3 I have been unable to back up my purchases tot dvd.

I had to upgrade becase 7.2 stoped working for some reason and kept saying there was runtime errors. has anybody else had problems like this and managed to sort it out?

Any advice greatful, I don't want to end up losing my videos etc before i back them up as this has happened before :o(

Sorry cannot help you but would like to say that I seem to be getting itune problems as well.

I uploaded a newest version resently and ever since itunes says then I click into itunes shortcut "a new verision is available" but I have already upladed it and it confirmed it had upload, I even had to restart my pc for the new version to become active etc. I have uploaded it about 3 times on instruction now but it will not quit telling me.

So each time I now want to click in it says "new upload available" so I click cancel to go into the itunes I have already and then it just freezes and wont play anything. Even when the "programe is not responding" window appears that freezes .........help I need me tunes!

Run the Apple Software Update application again; there's a slight bugfix edition to 7.3 (7.3.1). This may address those issues.

If not, report back and we can try again.

no that doesn't work, my current version is 7.3.1.3 it still does the same thingt except the error number it give has changed. before i got error 1951 but this time i now get error 261.

i hope you get it sorted. i had to restore my computer as something happened whilst trying to download itunes and it crashed my pc completely, i restored it and i have got the right security for my computer , however when i try to download itunes again as i lost everything it gets halfway through and asks me what i want to do with this when i press run it comes up with an error message saying win32 is not a supported document
so i havent a clue what to do with my itune situation atm
