Lost help files

I have lost all the help files. Help & Support is missing along with the help files from Exel and Word I am using Windows XP. The Acer computer has it,s own start up disk with XP on it and to re install means loosing all the other data. Can someone help.?

Don't reinstall just yet...if you have an XP Disc go here and follow instructions exactly to do a repair...third way down the page.

You on't lose your data if you put it on the D: partitionas the reinstall will only format theC: partition
