Converting jpeg to gif

Which programme are you using

easy peasy

open the jpg in windows paint ....
then file | save as
drop the "save as type" and select gif

you realise that over 20kb or so the gif file will get bigger than a jpg .... and as gif only supports 256 colours photo type pikkies will look worser
although cartoon type pikkies or screencaptures could look betterer
