is anyone else as lazy as me when it comes to deleting old messages on here? I have way too many now to tackle the problem and its so tedious checking each box seperately! Im the same with my outlook express and my hotmail ! Now this as well! I'm gonna spend from now till xmas deleting! Inbox sent deleted

well get off of here and do it, the trouble with you is, you spend far too much time coveting my Y fronts, get a grip woman they will still be there hanging on the wall after you have deleted the messages, or put them on your head and then you can multi-task, simple really us men are so logical. xx

Im not fortunate enough to have had enough messages to worry about it :( But maybe thats a good thing as I dont like deleting messages from anyway!

Oooh yes you're right Jules, it's a pain in the arse, I wonder if the technical team can't put a 'select all' button on there so that you can just get rid of em all in one go? Does the deleted folder get emptied at all or do we have to do it all ourselves?

I'm just like you - I keep leaving it and leaving it....
Last time my comp died I was offline for about a week and then still couldn't get back into my mail account for another few days.
When I finally got back in - there were thousands of spam emails with about 5 genuine, meant-for-me ones!! There was no way I could face deleting them all so I've left them and just deleted a few when I feel brave.
Last time I looked there were 10,597!!!!!!
I've more or less abandoned that addy now!

nuttynobs - I'm not THAT stupid! I managed to figure out the little ticky box all by myself, but when you have 10,000+ to delete - even that method is a bit off-putting to say the least...=0)

thing is, you delete them all out the inbox and then the sent box and then you have to go and delete them all again! grrrr,
