actually you are better keeping your existing arrangement .... untill the 50 (....50?????) develops problems.

use the 50 for system and core prog files (office and a few essentials) use the 500 for photo/music/movie storage
and to install games
(most progs ask where you want to install to ..... just change it to D:

you can even move my documents (right click | properties)

In your case .... look through the 50 .... find data (docs, tunes, movies NOT program files) and move them to the 500 .....

and then in future install all games etc to the 500
Yes you should only have operating systems and software on your 50 (c drive) and all your Data, photos ,music movies word docs etc, should be saved on the 500 ( data 'D')

neil

whu??
why install pqmagic

pq drive image has the disc to disc ... and then you'd not need norton(?)

however you should realy warn hill that pq won't work with a vista ststem

and that acronis true image would be much much cheaper ... is wizard driven so the task isn't at all complicated and could also be used for conventional data backup.

still it's better to use the configuration I suggerste in my first answer
